Seriously, the best moments happen when you don't have your camera, the battery is dead, or the picture just does not capture the moment. So let me try to explain the two oddest and most picture worthy events that have happened to me in the last 24 hours.
Exhibit A. Driving home from dinner last night, past Fashion Place mall, there is a young girl, probably about 15, riding her long board down the sidewalk with a baby car seat, with baby inside, over her right shoulder and a backpack and huge diaper bag over the left. Really?!? "Did all of you just see that?" And she zipped past us balancing perfectly on her board as if on the Santa Monica Pier. Of course we followed her because I am some what of a vigilante on the weekends and I was going to call the cops for obvious reasons, until we saw the baby was a doll and the girl was probably doing one of those school sex ed projects that makes you not want to have a baby after you have to take your "doll child" to the movies with you and your friends. Seriously though I almost had a heart attack!
Exhibit B. This morning a cute, old Mexican man was dressed up in full mariachi attire, sitting at the bus stop, strumming his guitar to pass time with bags of grocery's at his feet.
Sometimes life is just completely strange and makes me smile for the rest of the day. It's these moments when I wish I had the world's greatest camera, perfect lighting, and could capture the sheer weirdness of the moment.

The image of the the 15 year old was hilarious. By the way I got pizza from pie pizza in salt lake the other night and it made me think of the good ole days.
I was actually just looking at pictures of all of us at the Pie the other night! Those were the good ole' days. If you are back in Utah we need to get together and go down memory lane :)
