I am on a framing kick, trying to get some of my own art up on my wall. Do you know how expensive it is to have anything framed?!?! So, I get an idea...what about D.I. (Deseret Industries)? Usually I go there at some point in October to try to throw together a few Halloween costumes, but Saturday I thought--What the H, I might get the swine flu, but it might be worth it. So Mom and Lindsay said they would come, and we hit a few. Here are the treasures I am now proud to be the second (or third or fourth) owner of:
Ten piece Fondue Set ($3)
Four very cool old frames ($1.50 a piece)
One hideous bat picture for Lindsay ($2)
Two orange throw pillows ($4)
Two red and white heart place mats ($1)
One pink fur, mafia-style jacket for Lindsay ($6)
Laughing hysterically as we search through rows and rows of "treasure" ($Priceless!)
Though we all slathered on hand sanitizer in line, we have started a new tradition to hit up a new D.I. one Saturday every month.
