Things I am sick of this week!

In light of recent events it is time to vent some things that I wish would go away!

1. The word "Staycation" seriously it is everywhere! I don't know who coined this phrase, but it needs to be vomited out of everyday use! Vacation originated from the word vacātiō meaning freedom from something, so if you are sticking around town to do something with the family it is called quality time--let's take a vacation from the word staycation!
2. The Michael Jackson pseudo-love. Okay we get it! He was an Icon, yes he was a weirdo later in life, and it was only the other side of 6 months ago that half of today's t-shirt wearing, post-death-cd-buying groupies were accusing him of being a predator. So we get it! You 're trying to jump on the hearse--hoping it is still the band wagon, but for the rest of us it is tiring.
3. Cellphones in movie theaters. Would I rather hear a ring or mid-movie be blinded by five people in front of me opening their phones and blinding me with blue screens. If you are that addicted to text messaging, wait for it on video so I can enjoy it!
4. The dog in the neighborhood who is always off his leash, who always chases after me and my dog walking, and who's owner always comes out after he hears me yelling to say, "How did he get out here?!" Look I get you don't want to pick up the crap from your own backyard, so you let the moose out and act stupid if you get caught, but gigs up--Catch on!

On a brighter note: Harry Potter 6 was awesome! The director got it really right this time, including tons of humor and an enchanting way to pan between and switch to different scenes!! And I made three cloaks for me and the group to wear in one night! It was a Christmas miracle.
